The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam is planning to hire local administrative staff as follows, so we hope for a lot of support from those who are interested.

1. Recruitment field and number of people

1 temporary administrative employee (Vietnamese)

2. Qualifications

  • Fluent in Korean (Preference is given to those with experience in Korean interpretation and translation work)
  • Proficient in using business software (Hangul, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A Vietnamese citizen who has no grounds for disqualification from serving in a diplomatic mission
  • Those who are interested in Korean culture are preferred

3. Responsibilities

  • Korean interpretation and translation
  • Facility and asset management
  • Media monitoring
  • Business operation
  • Other administrative tasks

4. Working conditions

  • Contract period: Recruitment date - June 13, 2022 (including 3 months probationary period (paid))
  • Recruitment period: Scheduled for December 2021 (background check and separate discussion after final pass)
  • Basic salary: according to regulations on administrative staff of Korean Cultural Center overseas
  • Allowance: according to the regulations on administrative staff of Korean Cultural Center overseas
  • Working hours: 8 hours, 5 days a week
  • Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

5. Documents to be submitted

  • Document screening: 1 copy of resume (Korean) and self-introduction (Korean). 
    • Resume and self-introduction should be written in [download]
  • Iterviewees (those who passed the document screening): 1 copy of the final academic achievement certificate, 1 copy of career certificate (applicable), 1 copy of language proficiency certificate (only in Korean and English)
  • Only successful applicants must submit a statement of identity, consent form to provide personal information, and original criminal record certificate

6. Admission method

  • 1st document screening: Document screening 
    • Only those who pass the document screening will be notified of the interview schedule individually
  • 2nd interview screening: Q&A and Korean language proficiency evaluation
    • Interview date is subject to change depending on circumstances
    • Applicants who pass the interview screening are hired after background check
  • Final pass: Individual notification of recruitment of those who pass the final screening after background screening

7. Document Submission Method and Schedule

    • When submitting documents, the email subject and file name should be written as “Temporary Administrative Staff Support (Applicant Name)”
    • Mail and Fax are not accepted
  • Schedule 
    • Subject to change depending on the circumstances of the Cultural Center
    • Document submission deadline: November 28, 2021 (Sun) 17:00 (Vietnamese time)
    • Notification of 1st document screening result: November 30, 2021 (Tuesday) / Individual notification
    • 2nd interview screening: December 03, 2021 (Fri) / Individual notification

8. Other matters

  • Recruitment schedule is subject to change depending on circumstances. Only successful applicants will be notified of the results after each stage of screening.
  • Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages caused by false or erroneous entries or non-submission of required documents.
  • Even after passing the final exam, if the submitted documents are not true or if the background check turns out to be inappropriate, the hiring may be cancelled.
  • If there is no suitable person, we may not hire you.
