To commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and South Africa in 2022, the two countries are holding a logo contest to commemorate the establishment of diplomatic ties as attached.

Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced on the official website of the Embassy of The Republic of Korea to South Africa on 31 Jan 2022
Qualification for entry
Korean or South African national living in either country
Selection process
Joint evaluation by both countries
Contest criterion
- How well-expressed the theme is, uniqueness, aesthetic appeal, applicability, etc.
- Design to be used in color and black and white background
- Must be submitted as an individual (not allowed to submit as a group)
- Only allow entering with 1 logo per person
- Must use "Korea", "South Africa”, "30th Anniversary"
Application
- Submit logo in jpg file format to jjung16@mofa.go.kr
- Concept note of the logo, name, e-mail address, and cell number must be included
- The e-mail needs to be titled “(Logo Contest)NAME”
- The final winner will need to submit the original file (psd, ai etc.) and PDF file
Prize
- Grand prize (1 winner) - Gift worth US$400
- 2nd place - Gift worth US$200
- 3rd place - Gift worth US$100
Important note
- All rights to the logo belong to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in South Africa and the Embassy of South Africa in Korea and can be used for all events and souvenirs commemorating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and South Africa
- Submitted works will not be returned.
- Works submitted for plagiarism or other competitions will not be considered for judging, and even after winning the award, the award may be canceled
- All responsibility for legal disputes such as copyrights arising from the above reasons rests with the applicant
