Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong Administrative Staff Recruitment Announcement

The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is recruiting administrative staff as follows. We hope that interested people will apply.

Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong is looking for dedicated and energetic individuals to join us.

1. Recruitment type and number of employees: 1 administrative employee

2. Responsibilities

  • Korean film festival and film screening promotion-related affairs
  • Work-related to the promotion of cultural content such as game design and fashion
  • Work-related to local culture and arts policy industry trend research
  • Other cultural center events and operation-related tasks, etc.

※ It is possible to change the job as needed during the working period

3. Qualifications

  • A person who has no grounds for disqualification from working at a diplomatic mission abroad
  • Those who can legally stay and work in Hong Kong for any length of time
  • Language proficiency preferred
    • Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
  • Those who have a good understanding of Korean culture and are proficient in computer use (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) are preferred

4. Working conditions

  • Contract period: 1 year (including 3 months probationary period, 100% of salary paid during probationary period)
    • Official recruitment after 3 months of the probationary period
    • After one year of service (including the probationary period), it is possible to convert to an indefinite contract position according to the evaluation of the service.
  • Start date: in March 2022 (subject to change depending on local circumstances)
  • Remuneration
    • Basic salary: paid in accordance with the 「Regulations on Administrative Employees of Korean Cultural Centers and Cultural Promotion Offices Abroad」.
    • Other housing subsidies, bonuses, performance pay, overtime allowance, and medical insurance support are in accordance with the 「Rules on Administrative Employees of Korean Cultural Centers and Culture Promotion Centers Abroad」.

5. Documents to be submitted

  • Korean resume (use the designated form)
  • Self-introduction letter in English and Chinese (free form, 2 pages in total, 1 page each on A4 paper)
  • Experience certificate, language proficiency certificate, etc.

6. Document Reception Period

  • Until Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 23:59 (Hong Kong local time)

7. Selection method

  • 1st round: document screening (individual notification of 2nd screening details only to those who passed the 1st round)
  • 2nd round: interview and written test

9. Miscellaneous

  • Recruitment may be canceled if the submitted documents are different from the facts.
  • If there is no suitable person, the recruitment notice may be extended, re-announced, or not selected.
  • Even after passing the interview screening, if there is a reason for disqualification in the background check or there is a problem with the visa issuance, the admission may be revoked.
